02 Sustainability

Sustainable design for kitchens

We strive to maximise the use of recycling and manufacturing methods that comply with ICBES and FSC Standards and work closely with our partners to develop materials and finishes with minimal VOC impact. Our experience in sustainable practice has allowed us to to design and deliver a kitchen space for the first certified Passivhaus in the UK.

-All board material to be from sustainable sources (E0-E1)
-All board material to be natural (FSC Certified)
-All cabinets to be designs for dis assembly/ recycling
-All finishes to be natural or water based lacquer (LOW VOC)
-All worktops to be natural or from recyclable material
-All designs to include maximum areas for recycling
-All appliances to be AAA energy rating
-Energy efficient planning for all appliances
-Good practice guidelines for appliance use
-Low energy lighting/ maximum use of natural light
-All process and materials to be WELL standard compliant
